Fred the Chatbot, sandwiches for Belgian politicians

The Facilities Services Agency of the Flemish Government in Belgium has developed a chatbot in which government employees can order the standard assortment of sandwiches. The user pays for his sandwich immediately when ordering and then picks it up at the cafeteria bar.

Fred is the name of this chatbot and can do more than just take orders. You can also request menu and allergen information.

Employees of the Flemish government can now order their sandwich in an additional way and receive information about the offer. Menus and allergens can be viewed up to a month in advance.

Sandwiches can be ordered one week in advance until 10 a.m., picked up between 11 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

The chatbot is accessible by the yellow icon at the bottom right of the flamenco government.vlaanderen.be website once users have logged in: Attention! To do so, you must log in to the site as an employee of the Flemish government.
